Scout 4D, by S7 Outdoors, Inc. Last updated: September 18, 2026

This is the agreement between you and S7 Outdoors, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("S7 Outdoors", "we"), covering the Scout 4D application and everything it shows you. By installing or using Scout 4D, you accept it. If you do not accept it, do not use the app.

This agreement replaces Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement.

★ Safety — read this part

Scout 4D is an informational tool. It is not a navigation system, not a survival device, and not a substitute for your own judgment in the field.

Terrain, 3D rendering, tree cover, property lines and every other layer are built from public survey data of varying age and accuracy. The ground changes. Timber is cut, fires burn, roads wash out, fences move, rivers shift, and ownership changes hands. What you see may be wrong or out of date. What is in front of you wins, every time.

GPS position on a phone drifts, degrades under canopy, and fails outright. Batteries die in the cold.

Carry a map, a compass, and the gear to get yourself out. Tell someone where you are going. You use Scout 4D in the backcountry at your own risk.

★ Scout 4D does not tell you where you may hunt

Scout 4D shows you where you are, and what public records say about land ownership and boundaries. It does not tell you whether you have permission to hunt, whether a hunt is legal, whether a season is open, or whether a boundary sits where a record says it does.

Ownership and boundary data come from public sources that are sometimes out of date and sometimes wrong. Confirming access, boundaries, licenses, seasons and legal shooting hours is your responsibility, every time. Trespass and game-law violations are yours alone.

1. Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Scout 4D on Apple devices you own or control, for your own hunting and scouting. That is the whole of what is granted; everything else we keep.

2. What you may not do

shaders, or attempt to derive their source or methods, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.

imagery, property data or map tiles — by automated means, by intercepting network traffic, or by reading files off the device.

or use them to build or train a competing product, dataset or model.

3. Ownership

Scout 4D, its software, its 3D world, its data pipeline, its formats, its name and its logos belong to S7 Outdoors and its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trade secret and patent law, including pending United States patent applications. Public source data remains subject to whatever terms its publishers impose; our processing of it is ours. Nothing here transfers any of it to you.

4. Your content

Your waypoints, logs, observations and photographs remain yours. You grant us only the license needed to store that content, sync it to your own account, and operate the app for you. Observations are contributed to aggregated wildlife datasets only if you explicitly opt in, as described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement. We never publish or sell your spot-level locations, and we never show your spots to another hunter.

5. Subscription and payment

Scout 4D is sold as an annual membership. Pricing, billing, renewal and cancellation are handled as described at the time you subscribe, and the terms shown then govern. Memberships renew for successive annual terms unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the next renewal and does not refund the current term, except where the law requires otherwise.

6. No warranty

Scout 4D is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate, or that it will work where you are standing.

7. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, S7 Outdoors is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, property damage or death, arising from your use of Scout 4D or your reliance on anything it shows you. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the greatest extent permitted.

8. Apple

This agreement is between you and S7 Outdoors, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish support for Scout 4D and is not responsible for any claim relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

9. Ending it

We may suspend or end your license if you breach this agreement. You may end it by deleting the app. Sections 2, 3, 6 and 7, and the two safety sections above, survive.

10. Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts sitting in Montana, except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court.
